Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
In one sentence: Fluir only receives health data if you turn on cloud sync or usage statistics, never sells it and never shares it with third parties.
This policy is for residents of Washington (My Health My Data Act, RCW 19.373) and Nevada (NRS 603A, as amended by SB 370). It complements the Privacy Policy, which covers everything else.
What stays only on your device
By default, everything you record in Fluir — medications and doses, mood journal, habits, tasks, focus sessions, finances and what the app reads from Apple Health — stays only on your iPhone. We don’t receive it.
1. Consumer health data we collect, and why
Only if you turn these on:
- Cloud sync (needs an account, Fluir+ and a separate “yes” in the app): medication names, doses and schedules, and the record of doses taken or skipped; mood entries and notes; habits and when they were done (including habits marked automatically from Apple Health workouts — the workouts and step counts themselves never leave your iPhone); focus sessions; the preferences you chose in the app (for example, the challenge picked at the start and Fog Mode days). Purpose: keep a copy of your records and sync them between your devices. It is used for nothing else.
- Usage statistics (off by default; a separate “yes”): daily counters such as “turned on Fog Mode” or “started a focus session”, tied to a random device code — not to your name, email or account. Purpose: learn whether Fluir is helping and fix errors. Deleted automatically after 24 months.
- Your account (email, or Sign in with Apple or Google): using an app made for ADHD routines could reveal a health condition, so we treat your account data as consumer health data too. Purpose: sign-in and sync.
2. Where it comes from
Directly from you (what you type in the app); from your iPhone when you connect Apple Health (read on the device only); and from Apple, for the subscription status (which is not health data).
3. Sharing
We don’t sell consumer health data and we don’t share it with third parties or affiliates (Fluir has no affiliates). The only company that processes it on our behalf is Google (Firebase and Google Cloud), as a processor, under a contract that limits it to processing the data for us and for the purposes above. Category of recipient: cloud infrastructure provider (processor).
4. Your rights and how to use them
- Confirm and access what we hold, including the list of companies that process it and how to contact them. You can also download everything yourself, for free, in the app: Account → “Export my data”.
- Withdraw consent at any time: turn off cloud sync or usage statistics in Account.
- Delete: in the app, Account → “Delete the cloud copy” or “Delete my account”. Data is removed from our database right away; any copy in backup systems is removed within at most 6 months.
- How to ask: write to contact@appfluir.com with the subject “Health data request”. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request from the email on your account. It’s free.
- Deadline: we answer within 45 days. If we need more time (up to 45 more days), we tell you why within the first 45 days.
- Appeal: if we deny a request, reply to our answer with the word “Appeal” within 60 days. We decide within 45 days and explain the decision in writing. If the appeal is denied, you can contact your state’s Attorney General: Washington · Nevada.
- Using these rights never changes the price or the features you get.
5. Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Important changes are announced in the app or on this page before they take effect, and if they involve something that depends on your consent, we ask again.
