Privacy Policy

The one-sentence summary: your data is yours — it lives on your device, syncs to the cloud only for your own use across devices, and is never sold, rented or used for advertising.

What the app stores

Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you connect Apple Health, Fluir reads only steps and workout minutes to complete habits automatically and show your activity. This data is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties, and is never used for advertising or marketing, as required by Apple's rules.

PDF reports

Reports (mood, health, focus) are generated on your device and only leave it when you tap share. We never receive a copy.

Usage statistics (only if you agree)

Statistics start off. After the welcome steps, the app asks once whether you want to share them — either answer unlocks the whole app — and you can change your mind at any time in Account → Anonymous statistics. Without your “yes”, none of this is created or sent.

If you agree, the app keeps one record per day, updated throughout the day, with: counters (opened the app, finished the welcome steps, completed something, started a focus, turned on Fog Mode, exported a report, saw Fluir+, started or completed a purchase, had a subscription confirmed), the language, and the app and system versions. The record carries a random code created on your device when you agree — on the App Store it is listed as “Device ID”, but it is not the iPhone’s identifier or the advertising identifier, and it is not linked to your account, name or email. Turning statistics off deletes that code from the device; records already sent are left with nothing tying them to it.

Two weeks after you agree, the app may ask a single question (“is Fluir helping?”) with three ready-made answers — there is no field to type in. Answering is optional.

We never send what you wrote or your records (mood, medications, tasks, finances), and none of this is used for advertising or tracking. Statistics records and answers are deleted automatically after 24 months. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Fluir+ subscription

Payment is handled by Apple — we never see your card or payment details. If you subscribe with a Fluir account, our server receives from Apple only what is needed to confirm the subscription: which plan, whether it is active, when it renews or ends, and Apple’s transaction number; Apple also notifies the server when it renews, expires or is refunded. So the same subscription can’t be used by another account, the purchase carries a random code from your account. All of this lives in Google Firebase, linked to your account, and is deleted when you delete your account. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

What we NEVER do

Where synced data lives

Cloud sync is part of Fluir+ and only happens when you have an account and an active subscription. In that case your data — including mood, medications and finances — is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), accessible exclusively by your authenticated account. Without an account, Fluir works 100% locally: nothing leaves your device — except usage statistics, and only if you agreed. Without Fluir+, your routine data is not synced — but if you create an account, the data needed for authentication (e-mail and password) is sent to Firebase Authentication.

If the subscription ends, syncing stops. The copy already in the cloud stays stored, no longer updated, until you delete it: Account → "Delete my account" permanently erases that copy, and you can do it at any time, with or without a subscription.

Waitlist (website)

If you join the waitlist at appfluir.com, we only keep: your email, the type of phone you pick (iPhone or Android, if you pick one), the page language, where you came from and through which link or campaign (for example Instagram or YouTube, so we know which posts work), and the sign-up date. We use it only to tell you about Fluir’s launch and send app news — never sold, never shared, never used for third-party advertising. The data lives in Google Firebase (Firestore), the same service the app uses, and nobody can read it over the internet. Legal basis: your consent. To leave the list and have your email deleted, just write to contact@appfluir.com.

Your rights (GDPR / LGPD)

At any time, inside the app, you can: access and export all your data — in JSON, complete and always free, right from Account → "Export my data" —, correct any record, and delete everything via Account → "Delete my account" — cloud data is permanently erased. PDF reports (mood, health, focus) are an additional Fluir+ feature, never the only way to access your own data.

Important health notice

Fluir is a personal organization tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide diagnoses and does not replace professional care. Decisions about medication and treatment must always be made with your doctor.

Children

Fluir is not directed at children under 13.
